Cuyahoga Valley Coordinator
This is a two-year, temporary, grant funded position to support the development of a new organization that will be charged with seeking the economic, environmental and social health of the Cuyahoga River and its Valley. The starting salary is $36,000 - $44,000, depending on qualifications; excellent benefits. Responsibilities:
*Manage and organize the knowledge generated by on-going discussions (documenting meetings, assimilating information gathered in interviews into group discussions )
*Establish a process for setting up interviews, sending out CVI information and interview packets, sending thank-you’s to all participants advising them how to stay connected.
*Attend interviews to be conducted to document the discussion.
*Perform project research and prepare reports including narrative, database and statistical reports as necessary – including practices, actions, guidelines, incentives, codes and stories related to, but not limited to sustainable business practices, property management techniques, high-performance building technologies, and community-wide energy conservation strategies.

Learning Garden Manager
This seasonal position is responsible for managing a CBG Learning Garden site and Green Corps student program, an educational plant-based and entrepreneurial-based program. Time Commitment: March through November, 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday
Responsibilities:
Manage the Green Corps students, responsible for hands-on and classroom instruction of the Green Corps curriculum.
Supervise the planning, planting, maintenance and harvesting of an urban market garden and other urban outreach garden projects as assigned.

Student Environmental Congress (SEC) Program Mentor
The Student Environmental Congress (SEC) unites urban and suburban high schools to become
environmentally aware and involved in their schools and communities. SEC educates students and gives them
tools to improve the quality of the environment in their neighborhoods. The highlight of the Student
Environmental Congress is a student-led conference, which takes place every spring. In addition to the outings
each school develops their own environmental project. Student participants alternate between presenting a
workshop on their yearlong project and attending other school’s workshops.
Responsibilities:
Locate and use environmental education materials to develop lesson plans to teach high school students
about local environmental issues
• Mentor a high school group as they develop an environmental, community - based project.
• Work directly with teachers and student group to guide them in research, community outreach, and to assist

Clean Fuels Ohio (CFO) is a growing, respected and active non-profit organization based at The Ohio State University Center for Automotive Research. Manage CFO’s diesel anti-idling program that will include development of truck stop electrification facilities and installation of on-board anti-idling equipment for trucks and buses.
Coordinate elements of CFO’s overall biofuels program that includes financial support for retail biofuels stations, biofuels marketing, increased distribution and blending facilities, policy education, GIS data mapping of distributors, retailers, and vehicle owners, and fleet use of biodiesel.
Develop/manage statewide contact and GIS databases of fleets, fuel marketers and others.
Coordinate or assist with fleet projects development including researching vehicle fuel and technology options, conduct cost/benefit and return on investment analyses of fuel, vehicle and technology options, consult with fleet decision-makers, and identify/develop grant funding.
